This impressive large Stibnite specimen hails from the find that produced the largest crystals of the species ever seen ! A large, bright, rather thick, intense metallic silver color, prismatic crystal of Stibnite, free of matrix. There are some areas of "chipping" along the edges, so the crystal is not pristine, but you just don't see crystals of this size anymore on the market, and Wuning is not producing them anymore. I have to stress the impressive thickness on this crystal, the Wuning pieces were large, but typically more slender, so this one is big in more than one regard. Don't miss out because this is the last one I have left, and dates back to 2003-2004. From the Dr. Stephen Smale Collection.
