Item Description

Before China, these were some of the best Stibnites to hit the market in a long time. This specimen comprises dozens of highly lustrous, sharp, silvery sword shaped crystals of Stibnite forming a very aesthetic crystal "spray" which are aesthetically sitting on matrix. A great classic Boilvian Stibnite specimen and very showy to boot. The piece displays very well without the aid of clay or a base.. This specimen came out about 30 years ago when there was a large find of some superb Stibnites from this mine. You don't see many of these pieces on matrix with such great three-dimensional showiness. A few of the crystals are contacted, which is par for the course with these specimens, but certainly better than the majority of them we've seen. From the Bolivian suite of Rich Kosnar, and valued at $800.
