Item Description

Another first from the Kay Robertson Collection, as we've never encoutered a piece of this material. This piece is a very hard to find specimen of crystallized metalic, silvery, prismatic Stibnite from an undisclosed locality in the Stevens County, Washington. These are euhedral crystals and really and show a somewhat layered / foliated appearance running parallel to the prism. If you collect sulfides, or minerals of the United States, this is a wonderful specimen of this obscure material. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#11849). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
