Item Description

Magnificent combination piece consisting of a superb peach-colored fan of Stilbite resting on a rich bed of gemmy Apophyllites. The lustrous Apophyllites are classic, and range up to 2 cm in length. What makes this such a killer is the unusual, and fabulous, Stilbite. fan. Most great Stilbites are bowtie-shaped, but these lustrous and striated crystals have grown into a grand fan, the likes of which I have not seen very often. The fan is 6 cm across and 4 cm thick. It is both delicate in its beauty and strong in its form. So delicate that the subtle features are difficult to capture. The pics are good, but this is incredible in person. It is NOT your common stilbite specimen, and is part of the 200-piece high-grade India collection built by Charlie over 30 years of picking minerals. Valued highly, $2000 or so, it will not disappoint in person
