Stilbite bowties on Drusy Quartz

Item Description

An aesthetic and classic, 9.0 cm, stilbite "bowtie" is the focal point of this impressive, diverging, large specimen from Jalgaon. The translucent, pretty salmon-pink stilbites have pearlescent luster and rest on a crust of starkly contrasting, popcorn-like, snow-white, drusy quartz on basalt matrix. The other large bowtie, heavily covered with small stilbites is 8.3 cm. This dramatic large piece is nearly pristine, with only two small points of bruising. Jalgaon continuely amazes with the fine quality of zeolite specimens and this is a very good one.
