Stilbite-Ca on Blue Chalcedony

A gorgeous full-sized cabinet display specimen from the prolific Deccan Trap in India featuring rather lustrous, thick, "sword"-shaped groups of vibrant salmon colored Stilbite-Ca measuring up to 4.6 cm, which are oriented into a very pleasing arrangement, sitting on a layer of rare blue colored Chalcedony on basalt matrix. There are a few bruises on the Stilbites but it's largely in good condition, and it displays wonderfully as you can see from the video. People might think of these as being commonplace in the market, but you cannot deny that these Stilbites are some of the finest examples ever found, despite the quantity on the market, this is about as good as it gets, especially with such a pleasing color.
