Item Description

Eye-catching, high-quality cluster of honey-brown Stilbite crystals sitting on an Amethyst matrix. Totally unheard-of contrast! The Stilbite crystals are in a beautiful radial fan, forming half a sphere, but luckily exposing the lustrous crystals in the fan. Each crystal in the cluster is about 1.7 cm long. The 2 mm Amethyst crystals are a medium purple, gemmy, and highly lustrous. It would be hard to imagine this combination being any more aesthetic than this specimen. Some unknown associate mineral, probably minute calcite, fluoresces as well. From the Charlie Key Indian species collection
