Stilbite with Calcite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

An attractive display specimen from the famous locality at Moore's Station. The piece hosts several compressed Calcite crystals which are sitting amongstorange color Stilbite "blades" and "sheaves" on matrix. The crystals cover nearly the entire display side of the specimen, and is a beautiful piece for the material. As a species, Stilbite typically is white/colorless in hue, so to find crystals with an eye-catching color is rare. The piece is certainly one of the better pieces from the locality that I have offered in the auctions with this association.
