Item Description

A hard to find example of Stolzite! from the famous Black Pine Mine in Montana. The piece hosts several crystals of Stolzite, which according to my source have formed a partial pseudomorph after reddish-brown Hubnerite. There are a few white Quartz crystals on the piece as well. I have photographed the piece under the microscope to better illustrate the quality, and it certainly is curious under high magnification. From what I have been told, this particular material was only found in one pocket from the Black Pine Mine, and if you're a collector of rare locality minerals, or species from this historic mine in Montana, be sure to pick this one up! One of the very few pieces of the material that I have seen or offered. Certainly worthwhile from the aspect of obscurity and rarity.
