Item Description

A striking, pristine and beautiful 2.1 x 1.6 x 1.0 cm transparent to translucent, canary-yellow sulfur tabular orthorhombic sulfur crystal with tapered edges is dramatically perched on sculptural matrix covered with aragonite. The smaller crystals are an excellent accent. This very fine and aesthetic combination specimen is from the famous Cozzo Dizi Mine, one of the most famous Agrigento Province sulfur mines. Classic combination material. Bright pink aragonite fluorescence.
