"Honey" fluorite is famous from this old and historic mine. Supremely glassy and gemmy vivid golden-yellow cubes, to 1.8 cm, cover this rich and colorful large plate. The underlying matrix includes a vein of granular sphalerite. The mine closed in 1979. Bruising on one end is certainly only a modest detraction to this colorful, rich, showy and highly representative combination large example. Purple fluorescence.
