superb old Rhodonite with Calcite & Willemite

A killer rhodonite crystal from the famous Franklin Mine, absolutely unique in the world and unobtainable except from old collections. This pristine, lustrous 360-degree piece has two outstanding sharp faces and another partially euhedral face. Both terminations and the rest of the sides are contacted, with no damage. Most crystals are rough and typically tabular. This piece has striking, rare hexagonal form. The embedded black franklinite crystals and calcite on the top add color and contrast. UV light shows bright red calcite fluorescence and patches of neon-green willemite fluorescence. An exceptionally sharp Franklin Mine rhodonite with rare hexagonal form. This is out of a textbook for a Franklin rhodonite!
