Item Description
A superb skutterudite thumbnail of splendent, super-sharp crystals from Bou Azzer, Morocco. The striking large crystal is 2.2 cm across. These are considered to be the world"s finest for the species and you can see why. Older material. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family. A 2007 issue of the Mineralogical Record issue is devoted entirely to Bou Azzer. The photos do not do justice to the brilliance of these crystals. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
