Item Description

This is the ONLY piece of Sylvite that we've had to offer from this old salt mine in Thuringia. It is a VERY gemmy, sharp, well-formed, colorless cleavage section. While it may be a cleavage, the size and quality are still fantastic! If you collect German minerals or halides, don't miss out on this one, as you may never see another on the market! Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#4564). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
