Item Description

Please note: This piece is labeled as "brine products - not natural xx", so please keep this in mind when bidding. With that said, Syngenite is reported naturally from the Sigmundshall mine, but apparently these crystals formed from man-made methods. With that said, it's still a rare sulfate that is not found in many world localities. A prismatic group of gemmy, nearly colorless, monoclinic prisms of Syngenite have formed to create this attractive overall display piece. A cool novelty specimen to add to a suite of European minerals or worldwide sulfates. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#4898). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
