A RARITY! These are OLD-TIME, 1960s-era, PURE, SYNTHETIC antimony crystals. The bladed crystals are brilliant, silver-gray and have a very nice sculptural quality. SELDOM do you see material like this available in any market. Once they were sold as the real stuff, but native antimony seldom grows in perfect crystals, and of this size almost never. This is a really neat example, therefore, of crystallization in a species that normally doesnt do it well in nature. However they were made, I do not know - but not a lot are around today. Value???
