Item Description

An incredibly rare specimen of this highly sought after bismuth tellurium sulfide from the old type locality (which dates back to 1831!). This piece features a few handful of small, lustrous, metallic, bright silvery colored, modified trigonal crystals of Tetradymite on host rock matrix. If you collect rarities, sulfides or species from the type locality, you cannot afford to miss out on this attractive, historic and extremely rare specimen from this nearly 200 year old locality! This is the ONLY specimen of this material that we have to offer and comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
