Item Description

This piece came labeled as coming from "Pulacjo, Bolivia", but I can't find a listing for this locality anywhere, so I'm leaving it simply as Bolivia. The piece is more than likely from a small, obscure, isolated find that goes back decades. With that said, the piece features several very sharp, fine quality, rather lustrous, metallic, silvery-black colored Tetrahedrite crystals measuring up to 6 mm with minor Quartz on matrix. If you collect sulfides or Bolivian minerals, don't miss out on this one. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1678). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
