Item Description

SUPERB combination specimen from Tormiq, one of Pakistan's classic localities and well-known for the excellent Titanite twins found there. The two significant Titanite twins on this piece reach 1.6 cm in size, and their high luster accentuates the lush green, gemmy-to-translucent interiors. And it's two pair, not just one! Along this large cabinet specimen are associated Albite twins included and coated by sparkling dark green Chlorite. Reaching up to 3.2 cm, these complex twins are substantial and make an amazing complement to the Titanites. All these are underlain by highly-fluorescent Calcite. Hard-to-find Pakistan, "Alpine-type" Titanite crystals, especially with such great associations, make this a truly remarkable and substantial piece. Even the fact that this specimen is shaped like a ship, with the crystals distributed like the structures on a deck, adds to the appeal.
