The famous mines at Capelinha have produced some of the finest titanite specimena in the world and this is a very fine doubly twinned matrix small cabinet from the Matioli Collection. The two sharp twinning planes, on the top and on one side, of the doubly terminated and pristine crystal add much pizzazz. The crystal is very glassy, translucent with rich green and golden-yellow sections. Most of the faces are etched on this cutie, but those that are not, are really glassy. The bit of matrix and presentation form make this an exceptional Capelinha titanite.
