Topaz (GEM crystal) with Quartz and Microcline

An older specimen from Dassu featuring a sharp, lustrous, well-formed, pale sherry colored Topaz crystal of excellent gem clarity measuring 3.3 cm, sitting atop translucent, soft smoky colored, hexagonal prismatic crystals of Quartz associated with slightly translucent, white/colorless Microcline crystals. The piece is nearly a complete "floater", as it's crystallized on the bottom, and there is really only one point of attachment that I can find. No major damage, though there is a separation mark along the side of the Topaz crystal which later re-crystallized ("re-healed"), so it's not damaged. Very show and fine quality. It's not easy to convey the quality in photos/video, but take my word for it, it's a good piece and very attractive in person.
