Tourmaline is an incredibly popular gemstone among collectors, jewelers and dealers. This is due to the fact that Tourmalines are found in virtually all colors, and often in larger sized stones. This gem is a wonderful "Rectangle" cut stone from Brazil with a lovely saturated blue-green hue. Very slight inclusions can be seen, but it's a good quality stone and this now highly sought after and valuable material. Good gem Tourmalines are going up in value across the board in the gem world, and people are buying them more frequently it seems, as deposits dry up, and less material is coming out.
