THIS IS A MAJOR tourmaline for this style, and size range. It is a killer example that could easily be seen on a shelf at $6000- $7500 or maybe even in euros. The color is magnificent, the crystal is fat, and the luster is high. Moreover, the termination is as lustrous, if not more so, than the sides. Usually, too often, they are dull on crystals of this color style from here. The termination is pristine except for the tiniest of edge wear, and one small white speck is actually an internal near-surface feature and not damage. It really is essentially pristine by any reasonable definition, even to the extent of rubbing my fingers on the side edges looking for wear and finding none. The pics convey it pretty well..but do not quite capture the full intensity of this glowing gem crystal which is better in person. 86 grams
