Item Description

Tourmalines are some of the most diverse and popular minerals out there. They're one of the few species that occur in natural bicolor crystal as well. The majority of bicolor Tourmalines on the market today are only found in few world localities, Minas Gerais, Brazil, being one of the main sources. This crystals shows a distinct, but thin colorless "Achroite" termination that grades into a blue "Indicolite" color on and a green color that goes nearly to black on the bottom of the crystal. The specimen is in wonderful condition, and is very gemmy in the upper portion. Just gorgeous in person, as it looks like a blue-green glass pencil.
