Item Description
This vivid green tourmaline has such an electric green color, that it LEAPS out from a case, with even minimal backlighting. We show it here with both strong and weak backlighting, so you can see the range of color. It is not just an evergreen color, it is more lively than that, with an intensity and color saturation within that is difficult to describe. The surface is patterned, interesting, and complete all around. It has a full termination. This is an old style, not seen in probably 40 years or more, and comes from the large suite of Brazilian gem crystals in the Gene Meieran collection assembled over the last 60 years. It is 334 grams (about 3/4 pound). A stunning, vertically displayable, gem crystal. Valued $15-20,000.
