Item Description

A wonderful group of, doubly-terminated, polychrome Tourmaline crystals with Albite from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic that many of them lacked was decent color. The crystals on this specimen feature several colors ranging from a very pink shade at the end of their pyramidal terminations, which gives way to a very dark olive-green (nearly black) area throughout the majority of the prisms, then grading into beautiful yellow-green, olive-green and blue-green colors that end with thin colorless "Achroite" basal termination on the other ends. Several beautiful white “flower”-shaped groups of Albite (var: Cleavelandite) make for a wonderful accent to this eye-catching miniature display specimen. The piece is nearly a “floater” were it not for one minor contact on one of the intermediary crystals. Found in 2007, it is a really cool example of what makes Stak Nala Tourmalines so popular.
