Item Description

Tourmalines are some of the most diverse minerals out there, from the standpoint of color and multi-color display. This Burmese material is some of the most interesting and unique of any Tourmaline I've seen in recent memory. These Tourmaline are more than likely a combination of two or more species with the pink being Elbaite (Rubellite) and the black is possibly Schorl with the chance of an intermediary species in between. This colorful and translucent polished slice of Tourmaline shows a few "bands" of pink, black and white Tourmaline creating a unique combination. A few years ago there was a lot of this material available, but it seems that these pieces have quickly dried up, so don't miss out on this opportunity to get this slice for your collection.
