Tourmaline (unusual "phantom" crystal)

Item Description

An unusual prismatic Tourmaline crystal which might appear to be black, but with backlighting it reveals a dark green and yellow hue in the center. The gemmy section in the center not only shows a mix of green and yellow tones, but there is a black "phantom"-esque crystal inside. Very strange in a Tourmaline as "phantom" crystals are not very common. This is older material and rarely seen on the market today. I don't remember seeing a "phantom" crystal of Tourmaline from Stak Nala before, so this is a rarity at least from this locality.
