Tourmaline with Cookeite (ex AMNH Book Shop)

Item Description

A cool old time Brazilian Tourmaline specimen featuring gemmy, beautiful green color prismatic crystals mixed with tan Cookeite. The largest Tourmaline measures 2.7 cm, and even though none of them appear to be terminated, the color and gemminess are still striking. This piece came from the American Museum of Natural History Book Shop, and is accompanied by a label from recently deceased mineral dealer, Larry Conklin.
