The Himalaya Mine is well known for tourmaline, but seldom do you get a nice association with quartz, This piece features a 5-cm-long cluster of smoky quartz just perched on the top of a multicolored tourmaline! The tourmaline is a little dark, but it is multicolored, and shows better when backlit well. The association is at first glance fake-looking, I admit. But the piece is legit - no glue nor repairs. In fact, it has never been fully cleaned and still possesses some of the original pocket clay from when it was found, adhering. Interesting combo piece, valued $1000-1200
