Item Description

Tsumcorite is another of the ultra-rare species for which Tsumeb is renowned and is appropriately named after the Type Locality. It is a complex hydrated Pb-Zn arsenate. The sculptural vuggy thumbnail is richly covered on both sides with lustrous, yellow-brown crystals. The remarkable large sharp, single crystal is 3 mm. Sharp crystals, such as these, are RARE compared to normally seen nubby microcrystalline aggregates, which surround the crystal. Choice and RARE quality Tsumeb tsumcorite from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
