Item Description

Mangano-mangani-ungarettiite (1995) is a very rare Amphibole Group species, known from only three localities worldwide, and norrishite (1989) is a very rare lithium Mica Group species, confirmed from only four localities worldwide. The abandoned Hoskins Manganese Mine is the Type Locality for both species. This rich and very rare combination plate is covered with lustrous, reddish mangano-mangani-ungarettiite and black norrishite microcrystals. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
