Item Description

A very unusual and uncommon intergrown calcite formation from the famous mines at Guanajuato, Mexico. The very glassy, colorless crystals are nearly transparent and are very blocky, tabular, have pseudo-hexagonal shape and have WEIRD, raised edges all around their perimeters. The large crystal is 4.3 cm. The major crystals are nearly damage-free, with only one them having a trivial bit of periphery wear. A must for the species or locality collector. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
