Unusual Cobaltoan Calcite (New Find)

A decidedly different and striking cobaltoan CABINET cobaltoan calcite from recent finds at Bou Azzer. The very sculptural, two-sided piece is composed of very uncommon, two-toned, scalenohedrons. Many of the crystals are the beautiful, gemmy and lustrous, pretty pink, that we have become accustomed to. But many are also a combination of the pretty pink and grayish-brown, making for an eye-catching color variation. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but certainly nothing to detraction. This is a very fine representation of the species and locale.
