Item Description

A highly unusual and striking combination piece from the Charlie Key dealer stock. Charlie had only one flat of this very unusual association, which he said was found at the end of the 1990s. The glassy, transparent to translucent, amethsyt crystals have these amazing star-shaped, darker phantoms, that parallel the termination edges. The amethsyt crystals have partially overgrown a 2.6 cm, translucent, spring-green, fluorite octahedron. Some faces have a preferential overgrowth of secondary, colorless fluorite. I cannot think of a fluorite on amethyst association from any other locality.
