Item Description

A beautiful, translucent, rich green color trigonal Uvite Tourmaline specimen from the famous locality at Mogok, Burma. This crystal, though small, is very well-formed with smooth, lustrous faces and excellent form. The luster along with the color make it a lovely little gem crystal specimen. I have heard conflicting reports that the intense color is caused by either chromium or vanadium, but it's undeniably strong considering the size. It's a TRUE green as well, not a dirty green or a brownish-green.
