Item Description
This is a great example of the rare Antimony Oxide, Valentinite (Pronounced: Vah-LEN-tin-ite). The piece features sharp, decent quality, lustrous, prismatic crystals of Valentinite on matrix. This specimen was mined 8 years ago, and I have not seen any more specimens from this mine since that time. The largest crystal measures 8 mm long, which is very good size for this locality. Here's a great chance to have a matrix specimen of a very hard to find mineral. Species collectors out there should jump on this one. Valued at $850 for size, quality and rarity.
