Item Description

An aesthetic intergrown cluster of blocky, hexgonal vanadinite prisms from the famous 1990s-2000s finds at Mibladen. The stout, lustrous, parallel-growth crystals, dominated by the 2.3 cm prism at the crest, have strikingly variable color and gemminess. The dramatic edges have gorgeous red gemminess with flashes of orange-red fire. The frontal faces have a light oxide coating, that masks the true colors beneath. The bit of noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this sculptural miniature example of this varietal from the famous finds.
