Item Description
A nice Vanadinite cluster composed of big, fat, sharp crystals up to up to 1.5cm across and nearly 1cm thick. Vanadinite crystals cover the piece all around except the very bottom where it was attached to a small piece of gossan matrix. The Vanadinite crystals are lustrous, reddish-brown, hexagonal and some of the crystals, depending on orientation, have an opaque, orange-brown coating of later Vanadinite. A robust and showy Vanadinite cluster! Probably mined in the 1980's and originally purchased from Heliodor.
