Item Description

A nice toenail sized specimen of Vandenbrandeite from the famous Musonoi Mine. A semi-"rosette" comprising sharp, lustrous, deep forest green Vandenbrandeite crystals measuring up to about 4 mm is sitting on mint green Malachite on matrix. The label states that the associated minerals are Kasolite, Cuprosklodowskite and Seleniferous (Selenian) Digenite. It's a cool piece for anybody who collect U-minerals or species from the Musonoi Mine to add to their collection. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#648). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
