Vivid bright flashes of candy apple-orange, -green and -blue really sets off the polished front of this richly opalized mollusc beauty. This is classic, symmetrical and beautiful opalized mollusc from the famous Coober Pedy Opal Field of South Australia. The unpolished back side is strikingly different. Pristine. This is a very fine and above-average opalized mollusc from this well-known locale. It is visibly colorful and partially transparent. The mollusc is Cyrenopsis australiensis and is Early Cretaceous in age, 125-100 Mya. Valued at $1200-1500
