very large Duftite on Calcite

A very large and dramatically sculptural large calcite and duftite from famed Tsumeb, a classic and desirable combination from the locale. The amazing 3-dimensional, 360-degree specimen is composed of a myriad of densely intergrown, glassy, translucent calcite rhombs, to 2.0 cm. The rhombs on one side are preferentially coated and included with contrasting darker pistachio-green and lighter tea-green duftite. Another side is nearly entirely covered with tea-green dufitite and a third side has very little duftite at all. Highly unusual fluid flow and crystal chemistry on this exceptional specimen. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only one cleaved calcite crystal noted. Amazing for such a large and densely crystallized piece.
