Item Description

Three, blocky, lustrous, intergrown, greenish-yellow vesuvianite crystals from the Lake Jaco (Sierra de la Cruz) deposit of Mexico. The large crystal is 3.6 cm. The crystals have nifty modified corners and moderate transluence. Excellent for the locality and probably dates to the 1960s or 1970s. An old classic. Ex Don Boydston Collection, a noted California collector whose collection recently surfaced after disappearing for a number of decades.
