Item Description

Veszelyite is a rare phosphate and this fine, showy, colorful, multi-hued blue specimen is from a NEW 2011 find. Translucent, euhedral to rounded, teal-blue vezelyite richly covers the undulating crust of powder-blue hemimorphite of feldspar matrix. Beautiful combo from a recent find! The amount of veszelyite on the hemimorphite is far greater, than the 2008 find of this mineral here - from which not many specimens were recovered and now are quite pricey. This is a rich piece. Valued $500-700.
