Item Description

Here is a great old time locality specimen of Vivianite from Bolivia. Subscribers to the Mineralogical Record know that an entire issue was dedicated to this unique and historic locality. This size piece features a group of beautiful, relatively sharp, gemmy, emerald green color, prismatic crystals of Vivianite measuring up to 5.2 cm associated with Limonite replacing botryoidal Wavellite on Pyrite matrix. This material is rarely seen in today's market and this particular specimen is at least 25 years old. A beautiful classic display specimen of his well known Bolivian species
