Item Description

Wakabayashilite is a rare arsenide discovered in 1970. This is a SUPERB, very rare and rich large specimen with striking stellate clusters of lustrous, bright orange-yellow wakabayashilite blades on all sides of the contrasting massive matrix. With such huge, rich coverage, this is a major specimen for the species. While not the type locality, this is the most well-known locality for fine, large crystals (although it is still quite rare). Ex Howard Belsky Collection, who died in 1987. The specimen is misidentified on his label. Kyrgyzstan was still part of the USSR then. Value of such a rich, large rarity???
