Item Description

PLEASE NOTE: This piece came originally labeled as coming from the "Blow River" which is an old misnomer originally used in reference to the specimens that were coming out of Rapid Creek. The piece is certainly from Rapid Creek, and is a good quality specimen of this classic material. Wardite is a fairly rare sodium aluminum phosphate and some of the best examples of the species are those from Rapid Creek. An 8 mm sharp, lustrous, euhedral tetragonal crystal of light green Wardite sits neatly on matrix.
