Item Description

A wonderful association specimen of the classic Yukon phosphates featuring gemmy tetragonal (pseudo-octahedral) crystals of light yellow Wardite associated with dark inky blue Lazulite on a layer of brown rhombs of Siderite on matrix. The largest Lazulite measures 5 mm for scale. Good quality up close, classic material from this famous area in Canada. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7686). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
