Item Description

A fine example of bright LEMON-YELLOW Wavellite from the small 2007 find in Arkansas at this uncommon locale, not from Garland County, where the green varietals come from. The striking cute features the familiar botryoidal form with sparkly, acicular, radial crystals forming the balls - but in a very rare color for any locality that is only occasionally found here. The reverse of the specimen reveals the diverging glassy Wavellite needles along the vug edge. The largest "ball" measures up to 1.2 cm across. Ex. Wes Parker Collection
