Here we have a wonderful, attractive miniature specimen of these beautiful Wavellites from Avant, Arkansas. Wavellite is known from many world localities, but the finest and most colorful specimens in the world are found in Arkansas. This piece features fine quality, lustrous, gorgeous rich green colored "balls" and radial "sprays" of Wavellite sitting on matrix. My favorite aspect of the piece is the beautiful complete / unbroken sphere sitting at the top specimen (which measures 1.2 cm across). You'll see a lot of incomplete and just plain broken spheres of Wavellite from the various localities in Arkansas, so when you find a piece like this with an undamaged "ball", it means something. By contrast, the larger 2.7 cm "spray" at the lower portion of the specimen is mostly complete, but still contacted where it separated from the pocket wall. Priced at $650 in the inventory.
